Regular visits by our members in Krakow (in their spare time, of course) will take during the reconstruction of car #144. Most of the preliminary engineering work was completed on a voluntary basis by our own members – something we can be proud of. Reconstruction of car #144 will take place in several steps. The following pictures of our last project, car #1023, detail these steps.

January 2020:
Preliminary engineering works, first parts specified.

July 2020 - December 2020:
New frame manufactured based on original drawings.

December 2020:
Car #144 will leave Nuremberg, reconstruction starts.

December 2020 - October 2021:
A new wood car body will be built.

October 2021 – June 2023:
Interior works.

March 2022 – July 2023:
Install electric components and wiring.

March 2022 – July 2023:
Install windows, roofing and painting.

April / May 2025:
Car #144 returns to Nuremberg. Completion works and return to service.
